THE BLOODY BARON (1997)

SOURCE: Harry Potter and the Philosophers' Stone by J. K. Rowling (1997) and sequels.
DESCRIPTION: "Harry looked over at the Slytherin table and saw a horrible ghost sitting there, with blank starring eyes, a gaunt face and robes stained with silver blood. he was right next to Malfoy who, Harry was pleased to see, didn't look too pleased with the seating arrangements." (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J. K. Rowling)
NOTES: The Bloody Baron is one of the Ghosts of Hogwarts. He is the only person Peeves is frightened of. Harry Potter gets rid of Peeves by pretending to be the Baron while hiding under his Cloak of Invisibility. Details on the Baron are few. Seamus Finnigan asks Nearly Headless Nick how the Baron got covered in blood, Nick replies: "I've never asked."
HISTORY: The Baron isn't really in the film much. Probably too gory.
