STORIES
FROM THE NET
For
our first "Stories from the Net" I had to select these 7 issues of FLASHING
SWORDS. It was this publication that got me interested in Sword & Sorcery
again after decades of neglect. It's funny but you never know what you have until
it's gone. That's how I feel about FS. The website was filled with great stories
and good art artwork (some of it mine). You'll find writers like C. L. Werner,
C. J. Burch, Lawrence Barker, John M. Whalen, S. C. Bryce, Steve Goble, Robert
Burke Richardson, William King, Joseph A. McCullough V, D. K. Latta, Bruce Durham,
and many others as well as rare reprints by Harold Lamb, Richard Lyon & Andrew
Offutt. Read these issues before they disappear.
Consider
buying a copy of Issue 12. Not only willyou get this great M. D. jackson cover
but you'll also get "Black God's Burden" writen and illustrated by G.
W. Thomas. Beauty, eh?
