NOTES: Any animal can be made into a giant animal by eating the food of the gods. Once enlargened it will have all the same insticts and impulses of its former self. The only difference is, we will now appear like worms to a giant chicken...

HISTORY: Wells started a prolific sub-genre especially in the B-Movie line. Unfortunately few of these films are really ever well-done. The Food of the Gods (1976) and its sequel are poorly done. There are lots of different giant insect films, giant rabbits, giant frogs, etc. A few monster animals rate their own entry: giant bat, killer spiders, intelligent ants.
