Plot: Kull rides from the city into a forest which attacks him. He hears the trees talking about being the masters of the Earth before man. Kull is frightened but wakes from a dream.

Monsters:

Trees - ancient and able to move.

History: This poem appeared in WT three years after REH's death.

Adapted for a back up feature in Conan the Barbarian #10 (October 1971) it was written by Roy Thomas and drawn by Marie and John Severin.
